Hotel Distrito Capital
The hoteliérs of Grupo Habita have opened yet another chic outpost in México—this time in the newest and most expensive party of México City: Santa Fe. The most planned and technologically advanced part, Santa Fe is essentially a city unto itself. It was specifically designed to be the neighborhood of the wealthy jet-set Chilangos who had become frustrated with congestion in other parts of the city. Distrito Capital which translates as “The Capital District,” consists of 17 rooms and 13 suites in a cutting-edge skyscraper that is also home to Mexico’s largest mall and boasts some
of the best views of the city.

The contemporary interiors are juxtaposed with vintage furnishings by Charlotte Perriand and other renowned 20th century designers—a boutique hotel technique that has become a signature of all Grupo Habita hotels. My husband and I have had the pleasure of spending time at Condesa DF and Habita in the city and also Deseo and Basico on our honeymoon in Playa del Carmen (a place I highly recommend BTW)
