Hvass Hannibal
05Jan10
Thanks to one of my favorite rags, Surface magazine, I have been introduce to the work of Sofie Hannibal and Nan Na Hvass of Hvass Hannibal. The duo’s work spans multiple genres including album covers, music videos, fine art, graphic art, prints, illustration and art direction. Everything they create has a very distinct look, one that Surface describes as “simultaneously primitive and fantastical.” They have worked with the Danish band Efterklang, Depeche Mode and big corporate names such as Sony and Adidas. Pretty impressive for a group that just opened their studio in 2006.
Postcard included in Depeche Mode’s deluxe box set.
