HUGE

27Feb10

I am really into this amazing spread for HUGE magazine featuring pieces from rock brand, Hysteric Glamour. HUGE is a Japanese men’s fashion magazine (for which I could not, for the life of me, find the actual site…). Great styling by Tsuyoshi Noguchi and photography by WATARU. More on Hypebeast.

Looking forward to checking this out—

TypoFlat is a free vector project created by Branislav S. Cirkovic. Cirkovic’s mission is to have a free flow of creation with no money or clients involved and encourages the user to change his creations however they want. The imagery alone is pretty great. Tip via The Strange Attractor.

I’m not gonna lie, I’m experiencing a bit of a creative block today. I’ve always been a bit of hater when it comes to Valentines Day—it’s just so forced and commercial…Fortunately, I have a new reason to like the date—for, it was on the 14th I boarded a plane to Mexico City to embark upon what was, truly, the best week of my life. Happy Valentines Day Amor.

I’m pretty excited to report that LA-based photographer, Aaron Feaver, a.k.a Feaverish Photography (and who’s blog I wrote about a few weeks ago) has joined the contributors roster for Sloane. We’ve come up with a great photo essay idea I can’t wait to see materialize…His gorgeously real and unpretentious portraits below really hooked me.
