Our current show at the gallery is a must see. Webster is one of a new generation of abstract painters who are breathing new life into the genre—yet, being in the gallery feels like you just walked into a show that could have been shown in New York in the 50s. Drawing from a variety of sources, his biomorphic forms are both ecclectic and iconic—conjuring up a variety of ideas as to where his forms could have come from. Chuck Webster: New Work will be on view through April 17th and the artist will be present for a reception Friday, April 2nd, 5:30-7:30pm.
