It should be apparent by now that I love magazines. All types, shapes and sizes—and, in my quest to develop Sloane I have been hunting more than ever to find inspiration. Check out this great one called Page from Monterrey, Mexico put out by the very talented design firm, Face. Tip via Graphic Hug

Color Berlin

I was initially drawn to these images thinking that they were were computer generated illustrations/prints, but they are photographs by Berlin-based photographer Matthias Heiderich. I absolutely love his composition, deep color saturation and unusually flat approach to his images. Tip via ISO50

Lately I can’t get enough of  Aaron Feaver’s blog Feaverish Photography. The LA-based photographer and web designer features great photographers from around world. I stumbled upon these shots by documentary photographer Bryan Derballa via Fecal Face. I really love how he captured the Miami art scene in such a unique way. See more from City in Pastels here.

I especially love my neighbors’ publication Foam International Photography magazine, a beautiful photography rag published in Amsterdam. Covering work from many varied areas including documentary, fine art and fashion, each issue [...]

Gracias to my father-in-law for my early Christmas present: a new Canon Rebel Tli! (and thank you to my husband for knowing I’d want it early so I can shoot at Art Basel Miami). I am so grateful and excited for my new toy. I’ll admit, just after the initial excitement wore off, I was [...]
