Great resource from one of my favorite sites.


I was reminded today of the work of the late Anton Stankowski. A pioneer of Constructive Graphic Art, his creations were always so simple, yet perfect. He also often utilized the Univers font family which has always been one of my favorites. Images via David the Designer

I love this font created by Sam Shand. Self-described as a “neo-cursive, sans serif font.” I especially like the creative handling of the ligatures. Tip via Share Some Candy.

My latest closet type-nerd obsession is We Love Typography brought to you by the creators of I Love Typeography. Essentially, an image bookmarking site specifically for type-related media. On Tuesday, NBC was served with a lawsuit from the country’s leading typographic design firm, The Font Bureau, Inc. Like my secret love of European history, depressing Russian literature, and gossip magazines I have another confession to make: I am a closet type-nerd. My most recent obsession is Tungsten a new font family from Hoefler & Frere-Jones. Definitely adding this to the library soon. image: i love typography.
